Come and Play

One of the most popular events of the season - an opportunity to experience a day in the life of a professional musician. Join Christopher Bell and the Ulster Orchestra in rehearsal before taking part in an actual performance.

A fun-packed one-hour concert introduced by Brian Irvine and featuring a host of animal- inspired music - including a performance of Saint-Saëns’s Carnival complete with versified introductions.
Ogden Nash wrote short humorous poems for The Carnival of the Animals. The best of your poems might be included in this performance!

Ulster Orchestra offers for kids

Ulster Orchestra offers very cheap tickets to children For just £10 a year you can become a "Young Friend" and get Ulster Orchestra tickets for just £3 each, while parents of "Young Friends" get a 25% discount on their full price tickets. Disabled and disadvantaged groups can obtain up to 10 FREE tickets for a number of specified concerts, but must register in advance by contacting the Ulster Orchestra's education department
